After a $6B acquisition of Telogis and Fleetmatics, both of which develop location-based software to manage vehicle fleets both large and small, Verizon became a leader in the industry virtually overnight. In doing so, they knew they had two immediate challenges to solve—how to act and speak as that industry leader and how to unify and perform as one unified company—so they came to Envoy, Bulldog Drummond’s sister agency, to help them do just that.
Envoy began the process by completing a deep discovery across all three organizations. From there they built out a brand framework, brand identity, a new name and a campaign to manifest their message to the industry. In such a highly technical and futuristic category, they wanted to convey their leadership position as well as add a human element to the conversation, landing on “Go With Confidence”. Working with Bulldog, they developed the campaign messaging to redefine what confidence means in today’s fleet world—confidence in decision-making, in bringing in new drivers, and in the vehicles themselves. As a result, Verizon has become best-in-class in the industry while bringing together three diverse organizations. Envoy continued to work as their agency for 18 months post launch, helping them create new videos, campaign updates, website narratives and sales materials.
