A brand deeply rooted in tradition, Masterbuilt has been a trusted name in smokers for the past 45 years. Yet, they knew they needed to look toward the future if they were going to continue to grow their business—specifically a dynamic ecommerce platform and ways to innovate current products for a more connected smoking experience. And they turned to our sister company, Envoy, to help them do it.
As a family-driven company rooted in a small Georgia town, Envoy wanted to bring the brand and its story to life in an authentic way. During the discovery phase, they learned that everyone loves smoked meats, but that they’re often afraid to do it themselves, and it’s this insight that became the lens for the entire project. Envoy sought to make the science of smoking simple and turn every user into a master, focusing on technology to drive the brand experience—from WiFi connected guided cooking for consumers to a new website that continues to drive better conversion for clients. Since the launch of the updated site, Envoy continues to partner with Masterbuilt to explore new ways to push innovation, improve the user experience and develop new product features.
