Challenge

What began as a personal mission turned into a movement. By creating a line of all-natural, non-toxic products, Tata and Henry Harper defined the next generation of skincare. Their products prove that “natural” is incredibly effective and doesn’t have to live in the realm of the “granola”. In a distinct move away from their competitors, they positioned the brand as the most prestigious skincare (natural or otherwise) on the market. But with so much greenwashing and confusion in an increasingly crowded space, Tata Harper turned to Bulldog Drummond to help elevate, focus and strengthen their unique position; refine a multi-faceted story to cut through the noise; and give them clear direction as they continue to evolve and grow.

Result

We worked together in a closely collaborative relationship to uncover the layers of the Tata Harper story—small-batch processes, ingredient stories and complex formulations combined with a farm-to-city lifestyle and Tata’s unique and vibrant personality—to articulate a clear reason for being that no other brand could authentically replicate. We developed clear and distinct brand pillars, a refined brand story, an external-facing personality, design language and a strategic messaging guide. Our work continues to influence all elements of their brand, including communication, design, marketing strategy and their digital experience.
