We recently partnered with Diageo
, the world's largest alcohol production company, to develop a new wine for one of their key wineries, Rosenblum Cellars
. Our research uncovered the authentic story of Rosenblum's founder—a man with extreme courage, an entrepreneurial vision and a passion for wine. And while some called him crazy to quit his day job to open a winery in Oakland, we let it inspire the foundation for Stark Raving Wines
We designed Stark Raving Wine from the ground up, developing the name, crafting the brand story, and designing the labels. The design language and tone for the brand was inspired by the artisinal and scientific nature of winemaking and the eccentricity of a mad scientist. We partnered with photographer Dean Bradshaw
to capture the spirit of the "Stark Raving" wine-maker as our hero for the brand. The imagery and series of wines are highly stylized and unlike anything else you’ll find on-shelf.
